ENTRANCE CORNER STAND STYLED
Uncluttered whitespace removes distractions and creates a minimalist corner. The corner drives the key design theme and goals at the entrance to the room.
KING BED
Earthy pastels are used in the bedding and feature wall to calm and unwind. Bedside lighting makes the bed inviting and brings warmth. Contrasting textures and colours lift the flatness and subtleness of the pastels. The selected colours are used to mimic the shades of the surrounding angophora trees. Small plants and detailed lights fill the empty bedside space without becoming cluttered.
FLOOR AND WALL SPACE
Plants displayed on the open floor. Being at foot level it mimics the plants untouched belonging in nature. Elevating a fine cut wooden bench, an effortless floating illusion is created.
BEFORE RESTYLING
PROS:
-The space is not cluttered and only needs minimal changes
-There is a lot of natural light already brightening the space
- The room is in good condition
CONS:
-Many colours are clashing
-There is no theme, with very random cultural displays
-The room is not complimenting the surrounding bush environment
-The is no life in the room
-The space is not inviting to spend time in other than to sleep
